Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, harshly criticized pop superstar Rihanna for her captivating halftime performance at Super Bowl LVII on Sunday.

Rihanna caused a stir on social media after she took the stage and announced that she is expecting her second child, only nine months after the birth of her son.

The 9-time Grammy-winning artist, who was not paid for her Super Bowl performance, had previously hinted at her pregnancy with a cryptic statement.

Before Super Bowl LVII, Rihanna said, “I’m thinking about bringing someone. I’m not sure, we’ll see.”

Rihanna kicked off her electric halftime show with her 2015 hit ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ and received high praise from fans on social media.

However, Trump was not impressed and referred to Rihanna’s performance as the “worst” halftime show in history.

In a post on Truth Social, he wrote, “EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history [sic].”

Trump also criticized Rihanna’s wardrobe for the halftime show and took a shot at her stylist. He said, “Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!’”

Rihanna had previously made a statement against the former US president when a 2020 photo surfaced showing her posing in front of a car covered in graffiti with the message “F**k Trump” on it.

In the lead up to Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LVII, Trump didn’t miss the opportunity to harshly criticize Rihanna.

He referred to the 34-year-old singer as being “bad [at] everything” and lacking talent. Trump wrote, “Without her ‘Stylist’ she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!
